在英國知名選秀節目評審Simon Cowell的號召下，多位英美藝人大團結，重新灌錄了R.E.M.1992年的經典名曲〈Everybody Hurts〉，來為遭到地震重創的海地募款。單曲已於本月7日開放下載，8日在唱片行發售。英國政府也表示將免除營業稅，募款總額都將捐給海地災民。
